I was aboard during '67 as a radarman. can't remember any names except Aaron Branch.
She was old but fast, her call name Cherry was ironic since she would have been then oldest virgin in the fleet

A crew member from 8/66-2/70, (SFP2). I retired after 22 years, the first 4 were the most memorable. However, the 3 sections with duty weekend stuff did get better. I would like to hear from anyone that steamed on DD528. ''30 knotts and no smoke''
